GRADING SCALE
At MGC, every card is evaluated using a consistent and transparent grading standard. Our scale is based on the overall condition of the card, including centering, corners, edges, surface, and eye appeal.
Grade 10 | GEM MINT – A flawless card with perfect centering and sharp corners. No visible surface flaws under normal inspection.
Grade 9 | MINT – Nearly perfect card with very minor imperfections that are difficult to notice.
Grade 8 | NEAR MINT-MINT – A high-quality card with slight wear visible under close inspection.
Grade 7 | NEAR MINT – Minor corner wear, slight surface imperfections, or light centering shifts
Grade 6 | EXCELLENT-MINT – Noticeable but moderate wear. Card still presents very well overall.
Grade 5 | EXCELLENT – Visible edge wear, corner wear, or surface marks. Still structurally solid.
Grade 4 | VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT – Moderate wear across multiple areas. Card shows clear handling.
Grade 3 | VERY GOOD – Heavy wear, noticeable creases or surface issues. Still intact.
Grade 2 | GOOD – Significant wear, possible bends, creases, or heavy surface damage.
Grade 1 | POOR / FAIR – Severe damage including major creases, tears, stains, or heavy wear.
